The Department of Biomedical Sciences of Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with primary responsibilities for medical student education in basic and clinical pharmacology.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Responsibilities<\/h3>\n

Responsibilities will include serving as the course director of an integrated organ-based foundational biomedical science course for medical students, as well as teaching in undergraduate- and graduate medical curricula. Opportunities to engage in clinical service and\/or clinical research appropriate to training and licensure may be available.<\/p>\n

It is expected that faculty will be engaged in scholarly activities in areas such as medical education, curriculum design, learner and curriculum assessment, and\/or clinical research. Participation in institutional service also is expected.\u00a0 The position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits in a progressive environment. Qualified applicants must have a PhD, PharmD, and\/or MD degree.<\/p>\n

Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience in medical or graduate education.<\/p>\n
