{"id":15633,"date":"2021-09-13T08:46:28","date_gmt":"2021-09-13T13:46:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medschool.prd.vanderbilt.edu\/career-development\/?p=15633"},"modified":"2021-09-13T08:46:28","modified_gmt":"2021-09-13T13:46:28","slug":"regeneron-postdoctoral-training-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medschool.vanderbilt.edu\/career-development\/2021\/09\/13\/regeneron-postdoctoral-training-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Regeneron Postdoctoral Training Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The program consists of:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"terms-bullet\">\n<li>Up to four years of formal postdoctoral training in a program directed by an award-winning educator<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to the biotechnology industry&#8217;s most successful and innovative scientists<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to pursue cutting-edge biomedical research in a prestigious, well-resourced, and highly dynamic industry environment<\/li>\n<li>Weekly postdoctoral scientist meetings to foster scientific rigor, creative thinking, critical reasoning, and career advancement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>As part of your Postdoctoral Training Program you will:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"terms-bullet\">\n<li>Conduct forward-looking, innovative, and creative research to address a novel scientific question under the auspices of a scientist mentor<\/li>\n<li>Publish and disseminate data via external conferences and peer-reviewed publications<\/li>\n<li>Assist with mentoring and teaching interns and other more junior trainees<\/li>\n<li>Participate in postdoctoral program activities such as weekly meetings and the annual research conference<\/li>\n<li>Present data internally, including at lab meetings, trainee meetings, and company-wide seminars<\/li>\n<li>Provide ongoing reports of research progress to supervisor and program staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Experience and required skills:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"terms-bullet\">\n<li>Doctoral degree in a relevant discipline<\/li>\n<li>Scientists looking for their first or second postdoctoral training<\/li>\n<li>Superior scientific skills including critical and analytical thinking<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated publication success as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interact dynamically and constructively with scientific peers<\/li>\n<li>Note: Occasional travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Application information:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"terms-bullet\">\n<li>Applications Accepted: October 1, 2021 \u2013 December 1, 2021<\/li>\n<li>Starting October 1st, the links will be provided to apply online<br \/>\n<strong><a class=\"cta-btn blue\" href=\"https:\/\/careers.regeneron.com\/search-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>R &amp;
