Qualified applicants are being sought for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in Chemistry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is an on-campus position requiring a presence in Lebanon, TN during the fall and spring semesters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nKnowledge, Skills And Abilities<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate classes in Chemistry, academic advising, continuous course and program level assessment, committee work, and other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent written and oral communication and the willingness and ability to work collaboratively with others are required.<\/li>\n
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching, engagement in scholarship, and commitment to university service are highly desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    \nExperience<\/b><\/p>\n

    Prior college-level teaching experience preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \nEducation<\/b><\/p>\n

    Ph.D. in Chemistry. Applicants with a master\u2019s degree in Chemistry may be considered at the rank of Instructor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
