\nAaron S. Chaloner, J.D., Ph.D.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nAaron Chaloner is an associate in Baker Donelson’s Nashville office. Dr. Chaloner focuses his practice on intellectual property law. His specific focus includes patent prosecution for life science and biotechnology. He received his J.D from Oklahoma City University School of Law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Dr. Chaloner completed a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. During his graduate studies, Dr. Chaloner obtained funding from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to support his research into the effects of early life trauma and adversity on the development of heightened pain perception and increased stress responsivity. Dr. Chaloner’s technical skills include physiology, neuroscience, epigenetics, neuroendocrine signaling, behavioral sciences, whole animal studies and surgical procedures, and biochemistry. Dr. Chaloner is the author of multiple publications and has presented his research at national and international scientific meetings.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Seth Ogden, J.D., Ph.D.<\/strong><\/p>\nDr. Seth Ogden received his\u00a0 Ph.D. from Vanderbilt in Cancer Biology, and went on to obtain his J.D. from\u00a0American University Washington College of Lawfocuses. Dr. Ogden focuses his practice on patent litigation and the protection of clients\u2019 trade secrets.\u00a0 He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, and chemical technology industries. His scientific background and years of experience in the laboratory give him a unique insight when working with clients in these industries.<\/em><\/p>\nSeth litigates intellectual property cases throughout the country, in\u00a0inter partes\u00a0review proceedings before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and in Section 337 investigations before the International Trade Commission and has argued before the Federal Circuit. He is also experienced in pre-trial discovery work, claim analysis, and motions practice. Outside of litigation, Seth has proficiency in developing trade secret protection plans for clients ranging from industrial manufacturers to data analytics firms.<\/em><\/p>\nSeth also maintains a robust veterans\u2019 benefits pro bono practice assisting veterans with disability claims. He has pursued veterans\u2019 claims to the Board of Veterans Appeals and the Court of Veterans Claims.
