By identifying key knowledge gaps, building cross-disciplinary coalitions, and guiding the strategic use of private capital, CAS fosters environments conducive to impactful research.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Collectively, CAS oversees $700M+ in funded programs across neurodegeneration, neuropsychiatry, neurodevelopment, and wastewater-based epidemiology. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aligningscience.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Visit our website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to learn more about CAS.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Position Summary:<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Program Officer to support our scientific due diligence, key opinion leader (KOL) engagement, and scientific communication efforts across CAS-supported initiatives. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In this role, you will work across various scientific areas, synthesizing scientific manuscripts, summarizing meetings, tracking actionable follow-ups, and performing desktop research to inform our strategic roadmap. You will be expected to prepare executive summaries and maintain workflows to track deliverables from advisory and working groups. Additionally, you will support conference planning, internal meetings, and grant proposal reviews while representing the organization within the biomedical research community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b>Primary Responsibilities Include:<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Scientific Due Diligence and Facilitation:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Support due diligence efforts across various biomedical scientific fields as needed, including\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">synthesizing scientific manuscripts,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">summarizing meeting content, and\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">performing desktop research <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on experimental therapies, industry pipelines, key research players, drug development models, critical resources, and key nonprofit and advocacy stakeholders in biomedical research areas of interest.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Support efforts in gap analysis to inform programmatic priorities and strategic planning.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Project Management:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Support activities related to stakeholder engagement by preparing backgrounders,\u00a0 taking detailed notes, and synthesizing meeting outcomes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Facilitate tracking of action items and deliverables of the various stakeholder groups outside of CAS as well as within CAS workstreams.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Assist with planning and coordinating CAS-hosted workshops and meetings throughout the year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Facilitate lessons learned conversations after key deliverables and activities to support the CAS growth mindset culture.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Executive Summaries &amp;
