CMEsquared develops both live and enduring CME-accredited activities in collaboration with ACCME-accredited joint providers. Innovative formats and teaching strategies ensure a more engaging, valuable educational experience relative to the lecture format of many CME activities. Areas of experience and expertise include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, dermatopathology, pediatric dermatology, and important, late-breaking updates in general dermatology. To view our activities visit dermsquared.org<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting to:\u00a0<\/strong>Chief Medical Officer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Home office-based (Eastern Time Zone preferred).<\/p>\n<p>CMEsquared is seeking a Medical Writing Intern to assist in creating grants for funding and content for funded activities, under the direction of the Medical Education Grant Writer. The role will involve collaboration with internal team members and external faculty to create grants and activities based on approval of funding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities may include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Grants: <\/strong>Collaborate with VP of Educational Development and Medical Education Grant Writer(s) to create grants for funding\n<ul>\n<li>Review and proofread multiple focused needs assessments\/grants weekly, proofing supportive literature reviews, learning objectives, and agendas<\/li>\n<li>Edit grant \u2018rewrites\u2019 for resubmission purposes on long-standing initiatives on an as-needed basis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Content: <\/strong>Collaborate with Medical Content Lead(s) alongside internal and external experts to complete the following key tasks:\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with Medical Content Lead to create high-quality content for medical education activities that meet established educational need, timelines, and specifications as outlined in the original awarded grant application\n<ul>\n<li>Draft project specification documents for internal and external kickoff calls<\/li>\n<li>Draft, edit, and proofread slides for presentations as needed\n<ul>\n<li>Eg, providing higher resolution images, correct citations, and properly defined abbreviations\/acronyms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Fact-check slide presentations to prepare for CME approval and launch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Medical Content Lead to create, edit, and\/or review engaging, measurable, referenced pre and post test questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Outcomes\/Engagement: <\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft promotional email and social media language for inclusion in outreach posts on launched, enduring online activities<\/li>\n<li>Proofread activity outcomes data to verify educational uptake and unmet educational needs and gaps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Work on multiple formats and disease areas every week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to work independently as well as part of a team and must be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
