Dr. Rogers received his PhD from Vanderbilt University and completed post-doctoral training at the University of Iowa. While at Iowa, Dr. Rogers and colleagues created the first knockout and knockin models of a human disease in a large animal species &ndash; cystic fibrosis in pigs.
