The program will be held at the Vanderbilt Innovation Center.<\/p>\n<p><em>Pre-Flight<\/em>&nbsp;will be an 8 to 10 week program hosted at the Innovation Center to assist those with entrepreneurial interests and inclinations to explore the possibility of starting a company, evaluate whether a business idea is viable and learn what it takes to run a business.<\/p>\n<p><em>Pre-Flight<\/em>&nbsp;will also cover issues specific to Vanderbilt entrepreneurs employed by Vanderbilt including evaluation of research agreements, intellectual property ownership, the role of conflict of interest reporting, clinical testing, etc.&nbsp; The program will conclude with an opportunity to pitch to a panel of startup and investment experts for feedback on your plan.<\/p>\n<p>Pre Flight is open to all administration, faculty, staff and students who are considering whether entrepreneurship might play a role in their future. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the registration application.
