Vanderbilt-Emory-Cornell-Duke (VECD) is one of six consortia that comprise the\u00a0Fogarty Global Health Program for Fellows and Scholars<\/a>, which replaced the\u00a0Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholars & Fellows (FICRS-F) Program\u00a0in 2012. The\u00a0purpose of this\u00a0program is to provide mentored\u00a0global health research training opportunities in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs)\u00a0for pre- and post-doctoral candidates from the U.S. and\u00a0LMICs. The program is sponsored by the\u00a0Fogarty International Center (FIC)<\/a>\u00a0and several collaborating Institutes and Centers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).\u00a0Multiple training sites are\u00a0available through the\u00a0Vanderbilt-Emory-Cornell-Duke (VECD) Consortium<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The VECD Fogarty Global Health Fellowship Program is sponsored by Fogarty International Center at the National Institutes of Health with the support from partners across NIH, including:<\/p>\n
