The Lilly Visiting Scientist Fellowship is a unique one-year, post-graduate program for Pharm.D., M.D., and relevant Ph.D. or master\u2019s degree graduates. The program exposes fellows to a myriad of pharmaceutical functions and provides hands-on involvement with the drug development process. Fellows are assigned to one department yet work closely with other areas, enabling them to learn about medical, marketing, regulatory, and many other facets of drug development.\u00a0The purpose of the fellowship is to develop well-rounded professionals who will discover and develop the next generation of drugs that will improve patients\u2019 lives.<\/p>\n
Fellows specialize in one of several functional areas, including Clinical Development, Commercial, Medical, Project Management, or Regulatory.<\/p>\n
Candidates may request an interview\u00a0screening between September 13, 2024, and September 27, 2024, by creating an account on the Ripplematch platform and completing the\u00a0Visiting Scientist Fellowship Interest Form<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/span>. Qualified candidates will receive an email inviting them to submit a formal application and participate in a screening interview. The screening process involves a 30-minute interview through Microsoft Teams with the Lilly\u00a0VSF program leadership team in October 2024 and an invitation-only virtual happy hour in early November 2024. Top candidates from the screening process will be invited and provided with directions to participate in on-site final-round interviews in mid-November 2024.
