Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Analyst is responsible for working with a team to analyze and present insights about our clients\u2019 competitive landscape by organizing and analyzing findings\u00a0from primary (interview based) and secondary (internet based) research,\u00a0writing reports and\/or presentations summarizing the findings and analysis.<\/p>\n

The Analyst will work collaboratively on and provide leadership to an\u00a0engagement team in support of the delivery of world-class, actionable\u00a0competitive intelligence to our clients.<\/p>\n

This position will principally\u00a0support the Proactive Technology and Financial Services (TFS) practice.\u00a0 The TFS practice engages clients across a number of different industries, including Insurance, Credit and Lending, Banking, Software and SaaS and Telecommunications. Beyond general competitive strategy, the practice also supports cross-industry vertical on specialized topics, including digital, customer experience, data, innovation and organizational transformation.\u00a0 As a result, you may support Proactive clients in other\u00a0industries on an as needed basis.<\/p>\n

Team members have exposure to senior decision makers at Fortune 500 companies on a regular basis. Practice success is predicated on working with those decision makers to understand their issue, collaborating creatively and nimbly to design and execute potential solutions, and ultimately telling a story that leaves the client smarter than they were before the engagement. The Analyst position is absolutely critical to delivering on the above.<\/p>\n

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Analysis:<\/strong> Participate in or lead analysis of research findings to identify\u00a0key business and operational insights for our clients.\u00a0\u00a0An analyst will be\u00a0able to use various analytic techniques (e.g. SWOT, Porter\u2019s Five Forces)\u00a0and will have a solid background in effective communication of logical\u00a0thought processes.\u00a0\u00a0The successful candidate will need to be proficient in MS\u00a0Office Suite use, including development of visually appealing infographics.\u00a0Advanced level capability with PowerPoint and Excel is highly desired.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Deliverables<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0Demonstrate clear, structured approaches to deliverable\u00a0creation; compose well-written, concise and complete reports; create visual\u00a0elements that are logical, understandable and appropriate for the topic;\u00a0provide a solid representation of qualitative and quantitative intelligence;\u00a0ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, relevant and reliable; prepare\u00a0robust interim reports and insightful client update reports; develop\u00a0executive summaries with key insights and perspectives; meet delivery and\u00a0milestone dates without exception; present results to clients; train others\u00a0on the development of quality deliverables.<\/p>\n

Project Task Management:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Manage projects\/tasks in an effective and efficient\u00a0manner; execute Proactive processes and tools with excellence; meet internal\u00a0and external task and milestone dates; execute balanced scope, budget,\u00a0quality, risk and timeline; develop talent, delegate appropriately,\u00a0demonstrate teamwork; demonstrate strong communication skills\u00a0(internal\/external) regarding project progress, issues or concerns; train\u00a0others on project management.<\/p>\n

Secondary Research:<\/strong> Properly identify secondary tools appropriate for the\u00a0specific project; effectively and efficiently utilize resources to gather\u00a0semi- and public data; synthesize relevant information for critical facts;\u00a0identify appropriate sources to be used for primary; appropriately document\u00a0research; approach research in a productive and timely way; ensure relevancy\u00a0to Key Intelligence Topics; confirm research for accuracy; train others on\u00a0secondary research.<\/p>\n

With approval, the Analyst shall perform, to the extent possible, the\u00a0following in addition to his or her primary responsibilities and duties:\u00a0create project plans; participate in ad hoc client communication related to\u00a0specific projects; prepare and conduct training; participate in the\u00a0recruiting process; author whitepapers and newsletters; and other duties as\u00a0assigned.<\/p>\n
