Pop\u2019shops are designed to help users learn more about the equipment, software and workflows available to them through the VIDLstudio.<\/p>\n<p>The pop\u2019shops are open to the entire Vanderbilt community, but users must become studio members to continue using the studio going forward. To become a VIDLstudio member,\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:https:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/vidl\/2018\/10\/12\/studio-training-course\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sign up for online training<\/a>\u00a0on the VIDL website.<\/p>\n<p>Come to the pop\u2019shops prepared with questions, project ideas, or simply the desire to learn.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanderbilt.edu\/vidl\/2018\/12\/19\/studio-popshops-spring-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Find the spring schedule here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/vu-news\/files\/20190124164853\/VIDL_Video_Editig_Basic_workshop.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-286005 img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/vu-news\/files\/20190124164853\/VIDL_Video_Editig_Basic_workshop.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>In addition, VIDL is offering a daylong workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 27, on the basics of video editing. A \u201cBasics\u201d session will begin at 10 a.m., with an \u201cIntermediate\u201d session following at 2 p.m. Both sessions will cover the basic tools in Adobe Premiere Pro, general editing concepts, and a few advanced tricks.
