Emerging Scholars Lecture

Please plan to attend the inaugural “Discovery Science Emerging Scholars ” lecture series.  This new series will feature young scientists from postdoctoral fellows to early career faculty who are making notable discoveries.  

Dr. Rene Raphemot, Duke University, will be the first guest lecturer.  His topic, “A Genomic Screen Reveals New Host Factors Critical to Liver-Stage Malaria”, will be held on Thursday, March 16th at 4 p.m. in 206 Preston Research Building.  Please see the flyer below.

The second “Discovery Science Emerging Scholars” lecture will be April 13th at 4 p.m. in 206 PRB, featuring Dr. Stephanie Correa, UCLA.  Her topic will be:  “Sex-Specific Neural Regulation of Energy Balance”.
