Dr. Jacob Ark earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Wittenberg University then headed down south to graduate from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2012 under the Robinson Advisory College. In 2017 he completed his training in Urologic Surgery at Vanderbilt and now joins on as faculty and clinical instructor at the Veterans Affairs Hospital and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Jacob grew up in a farming community in Springfield, Ohio. Both of his parents, and both of his sisters, are English teachers. Although not often in the classroom, resident teaching is a major point of emphasis of Dr. Ark. In his free time Dr. Ark enjoys cooking, exploring Nashville's restaurant scene, cinema, live music, sports, and being surrounded by family and friends.
