The Howard Hughes Medical Institute / Vanderbilt University Medical Center Certificate Program in Molecular Medicine
A unique training program available to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the Biomedical Sciences at Vanderbilt University allowing for integration of thesis work with important clinical, disease-based areas. A supervised experience, including didactic and experiential courses, seminars and individual experiences, under the guidance of a clinical mentor and basic science mentor, culminates in the conferral of the Certificate in Molecular Medicine.
The program is funded in part through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and provides partial stipend support for participating graduate students. The Vanderbilt Clinical and Translational Scientist Development (CTSD) Program provides partial support for postdoctoral fellows.
