The Zhang Lab develops and uses integrative bioinformatics approaches to gain biological and biomedical insights from large-scale experimental data within and across omics landscapes. Current research projects focus on the following areas:
To link genomic alterations in human colorectal cancer to molecular and clinical consequences, with an ultimate goal of developing personalized therapeutic strategies for colorectal cancer patients.
To gain a better understanding of gene expression regulation through integrative analysis of genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data sets.
To develop bioinformatics tools that facilitate omics data integration, visualization, analysis and interpretation.
