Biography
I completed my BS in Biological Sciences in China Agricultural University in 2017. After research training in genetic and molecular human aging at the Chinese Academy of Sciences during my undergrad, I decided to pursue my passion for public health. I received my MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics from Washington University in St. Louis in 2019. During my practicum at WUSM, I contributed to investigating the association between alcohol consumption and mortality using data from the Health Professionals Follow-Up Study. My research interest is in nutritional and cancer epidemiology, as well as the roles of microbiome in human health. Here at Vanderbilt, I work Dr. Xiao-Ou Shu on cancer epidemiology in Shanghai Women’s and Men’s Health Study.
