My research laboratory studies normal lung development and neonatal lung injury, with a specific focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms that lead to bronchopulmonary dysplasia. We are interested in defining the profile and role of EVs in normal lung development and in the regeneration and repair processes that occur after lung injury.
