Our interest in EV research, which is highly collaborative, is motivated by the high potential of engineered EVs as therapeutics and drug delivery vehicles. We are interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms governing cell-, tissue-, and organism-level transport of EVs and their cargo, and in leveraging this knowledge to engineer “designer EVs” capable of highly efficient and selective delivery of diverse therapeutic cargo.
