My current research focuses on how indices of cerebral oxygen extraction and metabolism relate to cognition and brain pathology. Additionally, I am using recently-developed analytical techniques to assess cerebrovascular reactivity during a hypercapnic challenge. More generally, I will utilize various imaging modalities and neuropsychological testing to study changes across the cognitive aging spectrum.
