I will use scATAC-seq to define effects of Sox10 deficiency on chromatin accessibility in the enteric nervous system in mouse models of Hirschsprung disease. I will integrate these scATAC-seq data with RNA-seq data to identify potential downstream targets of Sox10 that are participants in enteric neurogenesis. These analyses should provide knowledge about disorders in enteric neurogenesis, and specifically Hirschsprung disease.
