Dissertation Description: The impact of tumor microenvironment on T cell dysfunction
For my thesis work I will study the differentiation of tumor-specific T cells in mice with either hematologic or solid tumors by assessing their immunophenotype and functional status and comparing how their transcriptional and chromatin landscapes evolve over time. By studying how T cells of the same specificity differentiate and function in different tumor microenvironments, we can identify features and signals of the tumor microenvironment that drive T cell dysfunction.
