Determining CKIδ/ε mitotic substrates
The Gould lab is interested in studying the molecular mechanisms that regulate cellular division, with a particular interest in mitotic exit and cytokinesis. My research is focused on two members of the casein kinase I family, CKIδ and CKIε. Members of the CKI family of protein kinases are known to be involved in many signaling events, including mitotic checkpoint signaling. My project involves determining CKIδ/ε mitotic substrates. This includes their substrates leading into and during mitosis.
