Evaluated the dissemination and implementation of a family-based community initiative targeting pediatric obesity at local recreation centers in Nevada, Michigan, and Georgia. Practiced qualitative analysis and program evaluation, and contributed to strategic planning for the development of future health and wellness initiatives at the Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation Department.

Attended weekly Complex Patients at Risk meetings, conducted literature review for the optimal tools to assess health literacy and the efficacy of substance abuse treatment in HIV, and analyzed on the VCCC panel of patients. Assessed if distance to clinic played a major role in missed clinic appointments and virologic suppression, and justified the establishment of a satellite clinic in Rutherford county.

Worked on developing an inter-institutional agreement between the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia School of Medicine in Lima, Peru. Identified and initiated quality improvement projects within the outpatient surgical specialty fields, with a primary focus on the opioid epidemic.
