Research Instructor, Cell & Developmental Biology

Angela grew up in Athens, OH and received her B.S. in Genetics and Plant Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her PhD from Cornell University in 2019. During her graduate career she applied molecular biology, proteomics, and RNA aptamer technologies to understand and disrupt insect transmission of a bacterial pathogen. Her current work focuses on the integration of molecular biology, microscopy, and mass spectrometry to better understand metabolic and infectious diseases in a spatially targeted manner.
