Bo Yang is a first year postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Jeremy Norris’ laboratory in the Mass Spectrometry Research Center in the Department of Biochemistry. She received her B.S. degree in Chemistry from University of Science and Technology of China in 2009 and her Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) in 2014. Currently, her research focuses on developing advanced imaging mass spectrometry (IMS) methods and instrumentation as well as applying IMS for single cell analysis of lipids and metabolites. In her spare time, she enjoys running, swimming, and watching movies.
