Eduardo Dias, MD

Eduardo received his M.D. degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil. After completing a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology he specialized in breast surgery. During his medical training he researched cancer risk factors in transversal and cohort screening studies for cervical and breast cancer. His current work focuses on the application of MALDI mass spectrometry for breast cancer biomarker discovery from tissue samples and the development of high throughput screening methods for small molecules.
