Eric Spivey

Research Assistant Professor, Biomedical Engineering

Ph.D., Biomedical Engineering, University of Texas at Austin; B.S.E., Biomedical Engineering, Duke University. Eric works on the design and construction of optical components to improve the spatial resolution of MALDI imaging mass spectrometry, and on the development of high-throughput microfluidic and optical systems to enable registration of mass spectrometry data to other analytical techniques at the single-cell scale. More generally, he is interested in developing tools for single-cell culture, segregation, and analysis, through fabrication of defined cellular micronenvironments.
