Katerina (Kate) received her B.S. in chemistry from Ramapo College of New Jersey where her research was supervised by Dr. Loraine Tan, and focused on fluorescence spectroscopy. Since starting her PhD, Kate has been advised by Dr. Richard Caprioli and Dr. Jeffrey Spraggins and is working on developing technologies for integrating MALDI imaging mass spectrometry and ion mobility.
