Kristie Rose, Ph.D.

Kristie received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2005. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Virginia, where she specialized in mass spectrometric analysis of peptides and proteins, and continued as a research scientist in the Proteomics Core at The Scripps Research Institute in the Department of Molecular Therapeutics. Kristie joined the MSRC Proteomics Core as co-Associate Director in 2010 and is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry. She has expertise in discovery-based quantitative proteomics, particularly label-based methods using isobaric tagging and metabolic labeling, characterization of post-translational modifications, and analysis of intact proteins.
