Ruiqiang Chen, Ph.D.

Ruiqiang (Ray) received his Ph. D from Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing China. Then he took positions of Postdoc Research Associate at University of Maryland, College Park, and NC State University, where he mainly worked on phosphoproteomics in model plant Arabdiopsis. Currently Ray serves as Research Fellow at Schey lab. And his research interest focuses on characterization and quantification of protein non-disulfide thiol protein crosslinks in normal, aging, and cataractous human lens and development of data analysis tools for high-throughput mass spectrometry-based proteomic data.
