Wade Calcutt, Ph.D.

Research Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, Department of Biochemistry


Wade earned his Ph.D. from Wake Forest University in 2001 and joined the Mass Spectrometry Research Center in 2005 upon completion of his postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Biochemistry.   He manages the daily operations of the Bioanalytical & Drug Metabolism LC-MS facility and is an analytical chemist with training in the electrochemistry of natural products, enzyme reaction kinetics, and kinetic isotope effects using mass spectrometry.
