Honors and Awards – April 2023
Drew Kittleson (G1) and Simone Herzberg (G3) won the Robert F. Miller Award for Community Service and Engagement from the School of Medicine at Cadaver Ball! This is “awarded to students who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to service.”
Dr. Ayesha Muhammad (M4) received the Michael J. Fowler Award for Educational Excellence during Cadaver Ball which is awarded to one upper year student who has demonstrated a passion for educating others while serving their community, going above and beyond to lift others both in service and educational enrichment.
Dr. Thao Le (G5) received 2022-2023 Russell G. Hamilton Graduate Leadership Institute Excellence in Leadership Award from the Graduate School which celebrates a graduate student who has made a significant, positive impact through their service to their community and who has inspired and empowered others to do the same.
Dr. Ben Brown (M4/Research Assistant Professor) received a NIH Pioneer grant (DP1) from NIDA, which is 300K/year for 5 years!
Aaron Gochman (G2) received his NIH NRSA F30 fellowship!
