I'm interested in understanding the interaction between NMDA receptors and corticotropin releasing factor within the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis in alcohol use disorders. Specifically, I'm examining whether a signal injection of ketamine can be protective against anxiety and depression during withdrawl in animals with a history of alcohol use disorders.
