Sports Medicine/Primary Care Pediatrics Fellowship

Vanderbilt Sports Medicine offers a one or two-year post-graduate program in primary care sports medicine depending on the primary speciality. Our mission is to provide excellent patient care in our clinics and to our athletes; education within sports medicine, orthopaedics and primary care specialties, the community and across the nation; and to be a leading force in basic science and clinical research.

This fellowship is accredited by the ACGME and through the Pediatric RRC. Fellows will be qualified to sit for the CAQ in Sports Medicine.

Applicants must have completed an accredited residency program in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Emergency Medicine.  Applications must include:

  • Application (download)
  • NRMP Application
  • USMLE scores
  • Official Medical School Transcripts
  • Medical School Diploma
  • CV
  • Copies of any publications
  • Three letters of recommendation

Accepting applications from September - October, 2015
Interviews will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 and/or Saturday, Novermber 14, 2014.(dependent on the number of applicants if there will be one or two interview days)
