Meet and Greet (MAG) Day is the first day of the student-run orientation and will give you a chance to meet many of your classmates. Along with the second-years, you will take part in a number of fun activities to help familiarize yourself with the campus and your colleagues. A welcome party will be held later in the day.
Nashville has a wonderful array of outdoor activities. This year, the Medical Outdoor Orientation (MOO) trips will include day at the lake, day in Nashville, hiking, paintball, and whitewater rafting. After all of the trips have been completed, the trip participants will converge for a huge campout. There will be an awesome cookout, campfires, games, and tons of funny pictures. While MOO trips are certainly not mandatory, most students attend one and enjoy getting to know their classmates in this informal setting.
