Homecoming is a great chance to see SEC football, spend time with your friends, and, of course, enjoy a true college football tailgate! Be sure to check out the student section (sections P and Q), where Vandy undergrads don their black and gold dresses and ties. It’s a great chance to be with your friends, whether or not you’re an alumnus. Visit the McGugin Center Ticket Office for information about football tickets.

The Impact Symposium, held in February, presents speakers on a topic of national importance. Past speakers have included Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr., Gary Hart, George McGovern, Dr. Henry Foster, Margaret Thatcher, John Edwards, Madeleine Albright, Mitt Romney, and Ralph Nader.
Every year before spring finals, Vanderbilt celebrates with Rites of Spring, a concert festival featuring acts from multiple genres. In the past, bands such as REM, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nelly, Guster, Hootie and the Blowfish, Ben Folds, Run DMC, The National, Kid Cudi, and Sara Bareilles have all headlined. It may be near test time, but go anyway and take a worthwhile break!
Performing in Neely Auditorium, this group of undergraduates produces four plays a year. Tickets are five dollars with student ID and are available the week of the performance. All seats are reserved. Watch for announcements.
