Xiaoxi Wang, PhD
Xiaoxi received her B.S. and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Tsinghua University, Beijing, where she studied metal homeostasis in nutrition and neurodegenerative diseases using fly models. After a year of postdoctoral training on ovarian stem cells at the Stowers Institute in Kansas, she joined the Page-McCaw lab in 2011, where she studied ovarian stem cells and how they were affected by Wnt signaling, HSPGs, and matrix metalloproteinases.
