Grant R. Wilkinson Lecture

The Grant R. Wilkinson Distinguished Lectureship in clinical pharmacology was established in honor of Grant R. Wilkinson, who was a remarkable teacher and leader in the science of drug disposition at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and throughout the world for nearly four decades. He was one of the most frequently cited researchers in the pharmacological sciences. His scientific insight influenced many who trained or taught in the Division of Clinical Pharmacology and the Department of Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine – in both the classroom and the laboratory. Dr. Wilkinson passed away in 2006. Members of the Division of Clinical Pharmacology, the Departments of Pharmacology and Medicine and the School of Medicine recognize Dr. Wilkinson’s achievements by endowing this lectureship in his honor.
