Postdoc Talk: Volume 1, Issue 1

We are excited to present the first issue of the Vanderbilt University Postdoctoral Association newsletter, Postdoc Talk. Our goal is to highlight news and events relevant to postdocs as well as showcase the accomplishments of our postdocs to the broader Vanderbilt community.

In this issue, we highlight events from the recent 10th Annual Postdoctoral Association and Shared Resources Symposium. The career section features interviews with Dr. Jonathan Mosley (junior faculty at VU) and Dr. Lindsey Morris (VUMC alumna), along with some tips and suggestions from Dr. Ashley Brady (BRET office of Career Development) on effective informational interviewing. The Congratulations section highlights recent accomplishments by two VU postdoctoral fellows. Finally, we bring to spotlight the research done by Dr. Elwood Mullins, a postdoc in the Eichman lab, recently published in the journal Nature.
