History of Cadaver Ball

It all started in the late 60's, when the fourth-year class started throwing a large party to honor members of the first-year class who survived Gross Anatomy. Since then, Cadaver Ball has grown more sophisticated, but it is still just as much fun.

After cocktails and dinner, the prestigious Shovel award for outstanding faculty teacher is presented. The Bucket award is presented to the fourth-year student who has consistently caught the most flak. In addition, beginning in 2014, all four classes in residence will provide entertainment in the form of sometimes irreverent skits.

Attended by almost everyone who has anything to do with VMS, Cadaver Ball is virtually guaranteed to be a good time.
