Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a debilitating condition that is on the rise. I analyse the BioVU medical record and genomic database to look for associations of phenomes and genomes for IBD. From there, I work to find predictive phonemes/genomes that will allow for earlier intervention among patients. I also study associations between diet and IBD. With these studies, I hope to give IBD patients more tools to manage their symptoms.
