The University of Michigan Medical School is currently accepting applications for the 5th year of our Health Equity Visiting Clerkship.

The Health Equity Visiting Clerkship is a 4-week clerkship sponsored by the Office for Health Equity and Inclusion (OHEI) at Michigan Medicine. The aim is to promote the development of medical students interested in health equity and inclusion work.

The Office for Health Equity and Inclusions reviews the VSLO applications and the OHEI supplemental application on a rolling basis until all available spots are filled. OHEI is proud to announce the availability of funds to support attending the Health Equity Visiting Clerkship with a stipend of $1,500 for each clerk.

OHEI leads efforts, advises on best practices, and coordinates initiatives to enhance inclusion, increase diversity, and promote equity across the Michigan Medicine for patients, staff, faculty and learners.
