Dr. Jeremy Warner

Biomedical Informatician. Cancer Researcher. Lego Wizard.

What’s the best thing about being a Research Director?

Learning about students’ unique interests and helping them navigate the very interesting but rocky road of research

What’s one research question that has kept you up at night?

How can we best leverage the data and experiences of the 95% of cancer patients who don’t enroll in clinical trials to learn about which treatments do and don’t work, and which treatments are better tolerated than others?

What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?

I like to build challenging Lego sets, which meshes well with my work interests which tend towards putting lots of little detailed things (databases) together! Photo will have to wait until Step 2070 (I’m currently on Step 468)….

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Cook a gourmet meal in less than 30 minutes with less than 3 dirty dishes
