For my own wellness I make sure I set aside time for my family and friends. They are the ones that are always there to support me and have a good time. In my free time I will try a new restaurant, go to a brewery, or play games like Catan. I also enjoy exercising whether that is playing pickup basketball, intramural softball, or going on a run. My advice to others is to make sure you take time for yourself and do things that you enjoy outside of school and clinic. I also suggest making sure to stay connected with family and friends because they will be a part of your life when school isn’t. School can be incredibly stressful and time seems to get away, but making time for those who are important in your life will be beneficial in the long run.
