Faculty must input the final grades for each student into VSTAR Grades.

VSTAR Portfolio is an activity-based assessment system that provides Vanderbilt students, faculty, and administrators the tools and workflows to facilitate self reflection, student assessment, peer assessment, and more. VSTAR Grades is the last step, after course completion, where finalized grades must be entered for the School of Medicine prior to listing on the student’s transcript. VSTAR Grades is the official record for the Enrollment Services Office, and without input here, there would be no official record of the student’s course completion or grade.

Comments entered here (from the summative section, not formative section) may also be pulled for use in the student’s Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE), formerly referred to as the “Dean’s Letter.”
