I am currently a graduate student in the Department of Pathology. I am originally from Nepal, and I received my bachelors degree in Biology from Berea College in Kentucky. Following my undergraduate training, I enrolled in Vanderbilt's Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (IGP) in 2010.
At the end of my first year, I joined the laboratory of Dr. Pampee Young, where we study the mechanisms by which adult stem cells can facilitate regeneration and repair of tissue following injury.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and exploring Nashville with my friends..
