Ernest L. Yufenyuy

Ernest L. Yufenyuy

Originally from Cameroon, Ernest received both his bachelor’s degree in Biology (minor in Chemistry) and his master’s degree from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2007. In 2008, he joined the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (IGP) in biomedical sciences at Vanderbilt.

 

He received his PhD in Microbiology and Immunology after successfully defending his thesis in March 2013. Ernest worked as a postdoctoral scientist at Vanderbilt from 2013-2014, and is currently an ASM/CDC Infectious Disease Fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
