I’m a first year post-doctoral fellow in the Molecular and Genetic Epidemiology of Cancer Program at the Division of Epidemiology and Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. I hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Ponce School of Medicine and Ponce Research Institute, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, where I presented my dissertation on breast cancer genetics. I have research interests in Clinical Genomics and Precision Oncology. My research project at Vanderbilt University is interested in the discovery of pathogenic and likely pathogenic variants predisposing to breast cancer in African American women.
