Graduate Student , Biomedical Engineering

As a member of the Grissom Lab at the Vanderbilt University Institute for Imaging Science, my research focus has primarily been on the development of new parallel transmission pulse design methods and imaging sequences for high-field MRI. I am interested in the application of high-field MRI to the study of neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis. My PhD project will develop novel pulse designs for high-field MRI and apply them to functional and anatomical imaging for the diagnosis of cognitive dysfunction and movement disorders.
